Translating a product catalog with 500 items is expensive. A translation agency typically charges between 1 and 2 DKK per word, and a 150-word product description quickly adds up to a five-digit amount for the entire catalog. That’s why it often doesn’t get done — and the shop only sells to one market.

macAdesign AI Translator Pro translates the catalog with AI and builds the language versions as real products in WordPress. You buy the license once and use it on the shops the license covers.

What it translates

WooCommerce products: product name, description, short description, and variants. This is where the catalog’s value lies, and this is what takes time to do manually.

Real language versions — not swapped-out text

Translations are created as independent language versions with a language switcher, so the original text is preserved. This means you can edit a translation without touching the original, and customers can switch languages without losing their cart.

The plugin stands alone. You don’t need to first buy WPML or Polylang and pay for two things.

You choose the provider — and pay them yourself

The plugin works with OpenAI and Google Gemini. You insert your own API key, and usage is billed directly between you and the provider. We neither add fees nor sell you credits.

This has three consequences you should know: You pay the market price rather than ours. You can switch providers if a model becomes better or cheaper. And you can see your usage on the provider’s side — we cannot, and we get no share.

On the other hand, you must set up the account and monitor usage yourself. If you haven’t done this before, it’s included in Support & Assistance.

What it does not do

It translates products. Not posts, pages, menus, or widgets. If you need to translate the entire site including content pages, this is not the plugin for you — and we’d rather say that now than after purchase.

AI translates well, but not perfectly. For technical language and product names, a human should proofread. That’s why translations are editable.

License and updates

The license is lifetime and does not expire. Updates come automatically under Plugins, like any other plugin, and cost nothing extra. The key is bound to the websites you activate it on — test, staging, and development domains don’t count.

If you need to move the license to another shop, release the website in the customer center. This requires no contact with us.
