Most newsletter services migrate your subscribers to their platform and charge per contact. Newsletter Pro does the opposite: everything stays within your own WordPress installation, and you decide who sends the emails.

Contacts, Lists, and Segments

Subscribers, lists, tags, and custom fields. Dynamic segments filter by status, lists, tags, source, country, language, name, email, and dates — with rules “all” or “at least one.” The count updates live as you build the filter, so you know exactly how many you target before sending.

Six Senders to Choose From

Amazon SES, Brevo, Mailgun, Postmark, SMTP2GO, or standard SMTP. You choose your provider and pricing level and can switch later without migrating data. Credentials are stored masked, and you can send a test email directly from the settings.

Drag & Drop Email Builder

Twelve block types, undo and repeat, global design and templates you can import and export. The preview renders on the server in both desktop and mobile widths, so you see the actual HTML the recipient gets — table-based with inline styles to ensure compatibility with Outlook.

A Queue That Can Handle It

Batch sending with lock-free claiming, retry with exponential backoff, throttling, and round-robin between campaigns so a large dispatch won’t block a small one. If the server crashes mid-process, the queue recovers itself. It can be driven by WP-Cron, a real cron job, or WP-CLI.

Campaigns with Status Management

Create, save drafts, send test emails, send now, schedule, pause, resume, and clone. Pre-send validation catches common errors, HTML is sanitized against XSS, and you can track the send live in the admin.

Signup Forms

Form builder with full design control over colors, width, rounding, shadow, and field size. Embedded form or popup, insertable as shortcode, Gutenberg block, Elementor widget, or as an action in Elementor Pro Forms. Spam protection with honeypot, fill time, and rate limit per IP — no CAPTCHA, so visitors don’t have to solve challenges.

Meaningful Statistics

Open rates, clicks, and unsubscribes measured per campaign and aggregated nightly to daily stats. Bounces and spam complaints are automatically handled via SNS webhook to keep your list clean. Open and click tracking can be disabled entirely if you prefer.

GDPR From the First Signup

Double opt-in with signed links, consent logs, suppression list, and integration with WordPress’s privacy tools, so data access and deletion work out of the box. One-click unsubscribe per RFC 8058. Import and export as CSV — chunked on import, streamed on export, so large lists don’t overload the server.

License and Updates

The plugin is released under GPLv2 or later. The license key is tied to your domain and grants access to automatic updates directly within WordPress. Test, staging, and development domains do not count against your site quota. It’s a lifetime license: you pay once and keep the plugin — you get new versions as long as the product is maintained.
